Realistic Resolutions.....
Remember New Year's? - time to start fresh, quit a bad habit, eat more healthily, get organized.... it’s a clean slate! Let's update!
With simple steps, anything is possible to achieve all your goals.
Try these simple steps to help you succeed at whatever you might be wanting to change this year. There is always an excellent chance that your goals will be met with success if you update perodically!
1) Be specific -- don’t just say, I want to lose weight -- make your goal specific like, I want to lose 5 lbs, or 10 lbs...
2) Set a realistic goal -- very few people are able to achieve a weight loss of say, 50 lbs in a year, but 5 or 10 pounds is very realistic.
3) Figure out steps to accomplish your goal -- again, be realistic. If you decide you want to run a marathon, maybe the first step would be to walk everyday for a certain period of time, then your next evolution might be to do a light jog for part of the walk, etc....
4) Set a time frame for succeeding. Try to set a goal for about 2 weeks. Stop and see how you’re doing and then re-evaluate, make any changes, look to see if you’re setting realistic ‘mini’ goals etc..
**Always consult your doctor before beginning any new form of exercise **
